The Story

Darks came to me looking to transfer their website from Squarespace to Shopify. They wanted to develop a website that would drive more sales and be more in line with their identity.

They had originally brought in a freelancer from Upwork but due to a breakdown in communication the site had barely been started before they looked for a local agency to do the remaining 80% of the build.

A large requirement for them was having a local developer who could be held accountable and could meet them in person to discuss what they wanted. This I could do.

Within the project I finalised the site design and created a seamless ecommerce experience. I also transferred all site setting from Squarespace to Shopify, this included the set up URL redirects to enable a trouble free transition for their existing customers.

The Features

  • Brand Match - The dark theme of the website and the imagery used throughout was matched to the brand identity they had been building over many years.
  • High Conversions - The site aims to drive higher sales and convert more visitors into customers.
  • Custom Design - On top of the Shopify theme, custom liquid and css are used throughout the site to build a more bespoke design and create a more unique user experience

The Technology

Built and hosted on Shopify. Custom code used throughout to create the look and feel desired by the customer
